Paymentearth was founded in 2016 by Jeff Scanlon and Saygın Esener with one clear mission: to bring transparency, fairness, and exceptional service to the foreign exchange industry.
After decades of experience in banking, foreign exchange, and international payments, the founders recognized a common problem. Businesses were often paying hidden markups on international transactions without fully understanding the true cost of moving money across borders. They believed companies deserved a better alternative—one built on honest pricing, expert guidance, and long-term relationships.
Together, Jeff and Saygın combined more than 50 years of industry experience to build Paymentearth around those principles. Jeff’s extensive leadership in banking and financial technology, combined with Saygın’s distinguished career in foreign exchange, deep industry expertise, and long-standing client relationships, helped establish a company dedicated to helping businesses succeed in the global marketplace.
Today, Paymentearth serves companies across a wide range of industries—including manufacturing, distribution, importing, exporting, food and beverage, marine, and wholesale—providing secure international payments, competitive foreign exchange solutions, and personalized support that large institutions often cannot match.
